For bringing groceries back I would suggest a bigger cab😀
For the inexpensive ride in Acapulco we chose the VW cabs. They are kind of cool because you do not see the VW cabs around anywhere else like, at least we do not.

We took one of these cabs from the main beach road up to where the cliff divers are - La Quebrada Cliff Divers.
Once there and we walked around, had an ice cream and decided not to make the 120 stair climb down to the viewing area, we took another cab back to the beach road to catch a bus to go to the movies.
