Sewing bimini for for re-positioned Kato Marine Island Davits - 2015

No bimini! The birds like the new perches.
Debbie took off the bimini and she is making modifications for the Kato Marine Island Davits. We re-positioned the Kato Marine Island Davits last year in the summer and this summer made some changes to the bracing so the mods to the bimini and the stern 90% phifertex shade screen are getting done.
Beginning of September 2015 - At private slip in Nuevo Vallarta in Banderas BayMexico
Cutting out this dot fastener and putting in a "U" to fit around the davit arm. Two new dot fasteners will go where you see the pencil marks.
Debbie makes her own binding tape out of the leftover bimini/dodger fabric then uses the handy binding attachment from Sailrite to sew it into place.
The "U" is done on this side.
Another dot fastener needs to come off and be patched. Debbie also modified our stern shade so these dot fasteners will work with the stern shade.
Patched.
Another removal.
The other "U" and dot fastener removal.
This one is a little more difficult as it is a patch then a cut-out for the davit!
Done!
OK now we need to add some new dot fasteners!
