Lewmar H3 windless painted, bolted in again 2015

Beginning of September 2015 - At private slip in Nuevo Vallarta in Banderas Bay, Mexico
OK the Lewmar H3 windless is all back together. Not that there was not any problems 😊

Debbie actually carried the windless from the toolroom by the carport to the boat and then up to the bow. That is quite a distance as we are housesitting a palace! We value this piece of machinery too much for it to be dropped or it going in the drink by sat the gardner or some other guy who works the property!

I lost a spring to one of the flippers on the manual recovery system. There are four and I lost one.
Alan and Elizabeth s\v Vivacia had some extras for his Lewmar winches so he gave us a couple. So back together it is and all greased up with dissimilar metals gunk on the screw so they will come out easy nest season!
The holes for the windless mounting i had forgotten to chafer when originally installing the windless so we did it this time. It enables the Silicone to seal better around the studs etc.
Rasping.
All bolted in, now to hook up the wiring.
Lets go, were ready!
