Dinghy chaps get washed and upgrades - new dingy seat cover, added chafe etc - 2015

Middle of July 2015 - At private slip in Nuevo Vallarta in Banderas Bay, Mexico
At our house sitting private dock.
Debbie washed the Achilles dingy chaps for later sewing. This is a prelude to the chaps getting some more chafe protection in places we found needed it and a couple pockets. Also, Debbie is making a new dinghy seat pad with cover. The one we purchased did not hold up well. We do use our dinghy a lot but still all considered we take care of our equipment and this seat cover did not last. It is nice to have a cushion on the hard wood seat in the dingy. A lot of times a knee goes on it etc when getting in\out of the dinghy. Debbie sits part on a pontoon and part on the seat by the bow when we dinghy off the boat.

The white part is the padded seat.

This part is the pockets.
The bottom has drain grommets that rusted and stained our Sumbrella floor cover. We never used all the pockets and even though we tried to keep the zippers lubed they froze at times. The surrounding fabric started ripping. Not Sunbrella obviously!.
