This time we used the Mercury 4 hp two stroke outboard. Debbie mixed up the gas and oil solution and put a
funnel into the top of the motor and filled the gas tank. We then pulled the
rope start but it was funky and came loose. We did get it started but the pull
rope is not right and will need some fixing.
Guess I could have dressed better :)_
We took the dingy for a nice Saturday morning ride
out around the anchorage and the slips by ours.
It was quite nice to get out on the bay in the tender.
While out dinging around we saw some friends from our marina, one on a paddle board and another in their dingy fishing.
We then put it back on the davits. We learned that we need
to put the engine facing forward and the handle up. Also we have the motor on
the port this side which makes the boat list more. This whole dingy thing will take
some time getting used too J
