Switching our ISKRA AAK dual alternators to both charge house bank? - 2012

 What we are trying to do is take the 100 amp ISKRA AAK alternator that is charging the starting battery and after the staring battery is charged have it go over and help charge the house bank. The other 100 amp alternator is set up to charge the house bank but two is better?July 2012 - Currently at Marina Kona Kai  Shelter Island San Diego, CA  

 The 100 amp ISKRA AAK alternators have internal controllers.
First off I talked to Stanley (877 227-2473) at Beta Marine about our two 100 AMP alternators and a dual controller by Balmer. Stanley referred me to Dale English at Balmer.

With the DBC may work.

We called Dale and talked a bit and the bottom line it is that this is worth doing but how to accomplish this is the question.
Stanley is going to send me the speck sheet on the alternators and I will be forwarding this to Dale with what we are trying to do. Dale will look it all over and give us his feedback on the best solution.
And of course we want to do this project before the Baja Ha Ha along with the other projects 😊
