Whale Gulper IC Bilge Pump sensor installed - 2012

July 2012 - Marina Kona Kai Shelter Island San Diego, CA
A bit hard to see but the black line running across the bottom of the bilge is the new Whale IC Kit 12V Gulper IC Pump & Strainer IC hose with sensor.
While working on the stern shower I got stuck so the bilge pump was the next logical place to turn for project work as it was sitting right there.

We attached the sensor to the new hose wire tied the sensor cable up the new hose.

Then I tried to get the sensor and hose to sit flat on the bottom stern section of the bilge. It was kicking my butt when Debbie arrived home to save me. It was a sweet shop inside and I was running low on patience which I would say is my strong suit.

When Debbie came home she changed from her work clothes to her help bail out Chip clothes and went to work. First she was able to get the new bilge pump hose to sit flat. She re-arraigned the sensor on the end of the hose. Now I tried that several times๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜•??
There it is our second bilge pump. This is the sensor and the Whale Gulper IC Diaphragm Bilge Pump will be our every day bilge pump.
Got the sensor and hose to sit flat in the stern of the bilge where the water collects.
Then Debbie snaked to hose up the port side and into the space under the deck by the galley sink where we are installing the Whale Gulper IC Diaphragm Bilge Pump
Looking for the place to put the Whale Gulper IC Diaphragm Bilge Pump
The blower hose sitting there. The space needs some work yet.
We have not decided exactly where the Whale Gulper IC Diaphragm Bilge Pump is going to go yet. We also have a AC pump and strainer and ¾ inch through hull to go in the space and there is a ½ inch through hull already there.

We still need to purchase the bilge pump switch and wire it up then we will be about ready to test it out.
