Debbie lowered the outboard down to me with the motor lift.
We put the Mercury two stroke 4hp outboard on it and then hoisted the
dinghy on the davits. We relocated the lifting points on the bow of the dingy
and tried it again.
Doing this while standing in the dinghy was a real challenge 😣
We tried to reverse
the blocks but one we think we need to re-thread so the line comes out inside
the davits more for a better flow when pulling up the dingy.
This is at least an 11' dingy.
It seems that this
would be an every day thing while cruising. Pulling up the dingy and then
locking it.
