Refer\Freezer painting\holes drilled done! - 2011

November 2011 - At Marina Cortez, San Diego, CA
The refer holes\painting have been finished.

We cut the PVC pipe for the evaporator plate and got it more or lees flush with the side of the freezer.
Freezer side -we then drilled yet another 3/8 hole through to the refer side, upper right.

This will be used for the #16 wires we will be using for the fan and the LED lights.

The hole that was originally a mistake (upper left) will be used for the refer thermostat wires, so now it is not a mistake any more ๐Ÿ˜€
Coming through to the freezer
I think this is looking at it through the refer-side.
Freezer side.
We drilled a pass through hole for the hot air to go to the freezer from the refer and after some work got a PVC pipe through to the freezer in it and flush enough.

Debbie then mixed up some epoxy paint (we lost the measuring plastic containers, moving you know) and Debbie used some make shift pudding cups for measuring the amounts and paper bowls for paint containers etc then transferred the paint into the roller pan on the boat.
Freezer all painted and drilled.
Refer inspection.

Debbie got the last coat of paint on both the refer and freezer!
Now we are done with the last hard messy time consuming project for our boat. There are others but none require the level of time and mess etc that this has consumed. We cannot really explain how good that feels. It could be it has actually not completely sunk in yet. We did just sit in the cockpit and talk last night and mentioned it was so different as usually that would happen after a lot of boat work.
