The thermostats spaces are identified - refer - 2011

The old holes will be plugged and some varnish will be all nice looking :)
The thermostats are going on the bulkhead just aft of the sliding door behinds the stove.

They will mount on top of each other. This weekend we will be cutting out the space for them.
If we could have hidden them we would of but after all the looking and figuring this is for us the best we could come up with. We may at a later date make a small teak box like cover for them so the LEDs are not glaring all the time.
This is the inside back and it presents problems with bracing in the way
There is enough room just below the bracing
We chose to have two digital thermostats because the analog thermostat option mounts on the fan in the refer along with the sensor and that is where you set the temperature. We want to have the sensor for the thermostat in a different location than the fan and the thermostat to easy to set. Down in the refer where the fan is is not easy to see or get at so it would be hard to set the temperature on the thermostat.
We will need to re-draw the spaces as the template we used; the thermostats face plate was not square. We will be trying not to use the face plate when we mount the thermostats. That will be decided by how accurate a cut we can make. It is not an easy space to work with either as there are confines to getting tools at it.
