Refer light switches - choosing one! - 2011

Original new switch we bought glued onto teak wood for mounting.
While looking for a light switch at Marine Exchange we came across a switch that is easier to flick on\off. It also lights and is a bit bigger for the fingers.
November - Currently at Marina Cortez Harbor IslandSan Diego, CA

We will run some test leads to see what the difference in lighting and wiring for the two different switches are. If the new Sea Dog ones (we got two) will work out, then we will dump the one we glued on and go with the new Sea Dog switches.
The question is the light. We need to see if the switch is on by the light and the switch will be behind a bulkhead. The light needs to Illuminati the countertop for detection. Which will do that?
With red lens in it.
New switch to the left.
New one to the left with easier action.
