Great fun sail

We had a great sail on the bay Sunday. Debbie and I and a work friend Joe went out.

We sailed to south bay by Silver Strand camp ground (to the end where the shallows are) and then started back. The wind picked up to 18 – 20 knots full time so we reefed both sails. The jib is tattered and not a pretty sight with streaming threads coming off the sumbrella but worked fine for what it is. Debbie is not feeling well, not sea sick just something she is working on and Joe is a new sailor, second time out. It was a good call as we had to do a lot of tacking back home because as usual the wind was on our nose the whole way till the airport from South bay. The boat did great and we had fun which is what it was all about. We were sailing about seven hours. Left at about 11:30 and back about 5:30. Lots of jives and tacks and all went well.
