Enrique and I six years ago at weld shop with Kato Island Davits - 2021

 

This is Enrique and I 6 years ago at the weld shop in Puerto Vallarta. This shop has a bunch of local guys that have known each other for many years. They worked together at a couple different shops and a couple years ago went out on their own.
June 2021 - Currently in Paradise Village Marina in Banderas Bay Mexico (by Puerto Vallarta) 

We have followed them with our projects. Jorge from SYS at Paradise Village Marina chandlery first told us about them. They do great work and are super guys. We re-did our davits three times till we got them the way we want them. We bring the parts into the shop each time. Now the the dingy is right up tight to the Kato Marine Island Davits and we added an electric motor which also doubles as a MOB retrieval system (without the dinghy). The dinghy goes high enough that we can lower our stern steps on our Islander Freeport 36, "B" plan sail boat.
