We purchased new Truper tires for our DaNard Dinghy Wheels as our tires were worn out - all cracked etc. The new Truper tires are actually wheel barrow tires - which are slightly bigger. So we gave away our old covers to s/v Eyes of the World in La Cruz and needed to make new ones. October 2020 - We are currently in Paradise Village Marina in Banderas
Bay Mexico (by Puerto Vallarta)
Debbie started out by reverse-engineering a bag we knew fit the wheels (as we used them as covers toward the end of last season) to use as a pattern for the cover.
Debbie cut out the fabric using our new/used Sailrite Edge Hotknife.
She used the guide attachment with a piece of plexi-glass underneath to protect the table top.
Debbie exclaimed "how did i ever live without this hot knife"!!
At first, the covers were too short so she added a band around the bottom.
The fabric used was repurposed paddleboard cover fabric. Saved us buying new!
Wa La!
