Our original water pump is showing its age and we thought we should get a spare. We have 1000 hours on our Beta 38 and it is 8 years old. The pump came without any paint. So painting it now is much easier than once installed. "PlastiKote" by Valspar (209 universal red). It matches our Beta engine paint perfectly. It is high temp engine enamel paint

Raw. Debbie taped it up nicely. She also used "Q tips" for the screw holes so they do not clogged with paint.

On to touching up the bilge.
Debbie protected the sides of the engine/engine room with brown paper so as to not get white paint on any of the hoses or parts of the engine.
The stick on the paint brush for the deeper bilge areas.
Used Brightside bilge paint - Interlux . We joked that the top of Debbie's head does not have any white paint on it - it's natural!!😁
