We went to Bucerias and purchased some paint for our flat deck areas. For instance around the inside of the gunnels and some anchoring areas. We will paint at anchor in the spring when the weather changes.
September 2020 - We are currently in Paradise Village Marina in Banderas Bay Mexico (by Puerto Vallarta)
Inside the anchor locker door will be a good place for me to practice the mixture and make it so you do not see any brush strokes.
This paint was owned by DuPont and is now Axalta and used on heavy duty trucks, buses and rail. It is a polyurethane paint.
AWLGRIP paint chart we used as a color sample. I originally thought I was going to use Awlgrip yet that is difficult to purchase here.
They (husband and wife) are very nice and mixed the color for us as "off white".
Had to buy the thinner and hardener too!
