On our 1978 Islander Freeport (s/vElegant'sea) we have a compartment in the lazarette for electrical. We can access it through the Nav Station through a louvered door. That is where I am now, inside the compartment through the louvered door. Lots of wires to tidy up! October 2020 - We are currently in Paradise Village Marina in Banderas
Bay Mexico (by Puerto Vallarta)
Reaching down through the top of the lazarett (starboard side) to screw in a wire tie.
Debbie took my photo from the louvered door in the Nav Station
looking up and out of the lazarett.
This summer we installed a louder anchor alarm, for our Vespa Marine smartAIS XB 8000 AIS system (has a nice anchor alarm). Also we installed a Blue Sky Energy IPN ProRemote
So we had wires to add, move around and some to remove. That meant a lot of undoing of wire ties and routing of wires etc. Now we are putting all the wiring back secured and ready for heavy seas (which we hope we never see)😜
