It is now time to start cleaning up the hardware for the stateroom door. We are using a red scratch pad and a white one for the polishing up. The brass parts had a coating on them from Islander Yachts that has mostly wore off. Some areas it is still on and what we could not remove by polishing we will try paint remover – striper. That we will do on a test are first. Then we can finish up on all the polishing and coat them with polyurethane like we did in the head.
This is nice come-fey work sitting at the table. Debbie is sewing and we are chatting about stuff. Life is good.
