Teak and Holly ready for varnish after cleaning and more cleaning! - 2011

April 2011 - At Marina Cortez, San Diego, CA
Next is a good sanding as there is dust etc in the epoxy.

Then some coats of varnish will be put on this coming weekend.
There is now two coats of epoxy on the deck now.
The epoxy is very strong. It resists damage to the deck. Say dropping a tool on it.
Debbie removed all the blue tape and bubble wrap.
We throughly cleaned the boat this weekend for preparation of varnishing by removing all the bubble wrap and brown paper, washing everything and vacuuming etc.
We put the doors back on for the cabinet over the Force 10 stove.
We put the louvered door on in front of the sink.
Doors are back on for the cabinet over the stove Force 10 stove.
Lots of work as sawdust was everywhere!!
Louvered door back on in front of the sink
Cleaned all the lovers with a paint brush and soap and water.

We even cleaned to cockpit, first time in months!
Next the hatch pulls go in then the varnishing so we had to mark where to put the hatch pulls with blue tape.
