Salon Settee cushions - oh no its a bait and switch?

Well it seems the hardest part of this refit is dealing with the venders, at least for me.
I stopped by the upholstery shop to finalize the project and things changed.

The price went up (no longer hard up for work they say).

More foam needed.
An example of a top stitch

The flat Stitching is more expensive. They wanted to use a top stitch. No way because we need to slide across the salon seat to get in with the table up. We would be fraying the fabric and catching on it. They said that Islander yachts used a $6000.00 machine to do that, we would need to sew it three times. So?

Price of materials went up

Bla bla bla

Well we have a quote in writing and we held his feet to the fire on it, almost.

My prices are good for three months. Well we came in February so it is less than three months ago.

I could not have bid that low it will cost me money. You did and we have the paper work.

I was going out of business and am not any more, we have plenty of work now and will need to push aside some to do yours. We made a deal.

The fabric is harder to work with. We told you what we were getting.

On and On and well you know.
The guy (Dave) is still a nice guy but a deal is still a deal. We did a lot of work to get here and do not need this stuff now.
