We finished the Garmin GPSMAP 942 chartplotter binnacle mount - 2019

This is now mostly complete. The wires come down more straight and there are a couple clamps that will be replaced with welds. It is functional and looks good.
We did detail the wiring and some of the mount in an earlier post but we are at the finished mount now.

November 2019 - Currently in Paradise Village Marina in Banderas Bay Mexico (by Puerto Vallarta)

There is a clamp on each piece of 1" stainless steel tubing to hold the Garmin GPSMAP 942 chart plotter in position. After this season if we like the setup then we will have the end cap welded to one side of the clamp on the hand rail. That way, we can get rid of the temporary clamps and the plotter will be held in position. We can still remove the SS rail clamps also if we desire.
 Temporary bracket for 1" tubing.
