Put up Mainsail, closer to getting off the dock - 2019

Our Hyde main sail is now back on the boom. It was stored inside all summer as we do that each summer. We wash and dry it and fold it and store it. Well we used to do that ourselves but now we have it done. The sail still looks new with no mold or mildew spots etc.
November 2019 - Currently in Paradise Village Marina in Banderas Bay Mexico (by Puerto Vallarta)

Up goes the "stack pack" sail cover.

Debbie is changing the front cover so it will wrap around
the mast behind the whisker pole instead of in front of it.
Then we will add twist ties to it as we cut it down the the middle. This way we can deploy the whisker pole to hold our Magma Rock N Roll Stabilizer (flopper stopper) and make it easier to be able to cover the front of the sail while at anchor.
Orange clamps holding sail cover for alterations by us.
We had the Harken  furler locked so the line
would not be unfurled in case of high winds. We did the same
with the head sail as the main - washed, dried, folded it
and stored it away. Only the lock froze up inside.
I cut it off with the Dremel. Next time we will use a clip instead😀
Hyde head sail up too. It is a 135 genoa.
