Beta diesel engine motor mounts cleaned of rust & painted -2019

The Beta Marine 38 hp motor mounts were getting rusty. Some more than others. But we can not have that! We have painted them years ago because of the rust but they need some touching up.

November 2019 - Currently in Paradise Village Marina in Banderas Bay Mexico (by Puerto Vallarta)
Our Beta diesel is just 9 years old with 925 hours on it.
Starboard forward mount. It was getting bad.
We will be giving the white bilge paint another coat of Brightside bilge paint -Interlux.
This allowed us to paint around the edges of the motor mounts and that area was really getting rusty.
 Starboard aft.
So I scraped them, then sanded them and wiped them off. Of course, they are not all that easy to reach. Then I put on OSPHO which turns rust into another metal. Then when that was dry, I painted them with Rust-Oleum.
This spot is on the upper motor mount and needed the same treatment.
When we touch up the engine paint this will get painted red.
The yellow circle is another project - a hose that will get replaced but that is another post😁
And yet there is another section to do.
This is the upper starboard forward motor mount.
You can see the paint bubbling and some rust.
