You can see here where the cable was being pinched. The housing is worn through
which made it touchy to get the rpm's from our Beta Marine 38 hp diesel engine.
We had "Luis", our mechanic, replace it. Nice to not do this ourselves
as we usually would have but were short on time.

This is the old cable. Zaragoza Chandlery in Puerto Vallarta had one in stock.
We had this cable on our Perkins 4-108 engine and just hooked it up to our Beta Marine 38 hp diesel engine when we repowered no problem.
Red is a universal cable and it was 20'.
Now it moves smoothly!😎
