We were sailing to Playa Los Animas in Banderas Bay and while on the beach, got all sandy. We came back to s\v Elegant'sea and went to wash off our feet from the sand.

But this is as far as the hose would go into the wash down!
Not going in all the way. So we endured the sail home with sandy feet, poor us.
This will need to come apart.

This end would not go in all the way.
Took the elbow off and then the back of the valve.
I found the "O" ring inside was froze up and preventing the blue valve
from moving. I lubed up the "O" ring and blue plastic valve
and put it back together. And wala! It works again. Use it or lose it😎
