Stateroom step over to head prepped and varnished - 2019

This prepping was a whole lot of work for a small area! It took me at least a few hours on my hands and knee pad to get the area cleaned up. Still there were some spots that just would not come off. The area looks worse than the pictures and better than the pictures.
February 2019 -We are currently in Paradise Village Marina in Banderas Bay Mexico (by Puerto Vallarta)
Lots of epoxy from when Owen the shipwright laid the deck. He did a great job with the deck but was a little sloppy on the base board areas😕
So there is a lot of clean up to varnish this small area. This spot can be seen from the hole boat except the head and even from the cockpit.
However it is usually somewhat dark in this area so it did not look too bad, or I should say it was hard to see how bad it was.
Lots of scraping.

Ok the area is the best I can get it.
Ready for Debbie to do the taping.

Ready to varnish it!
 All done.
What it looks like without the flash on. So it is kind of both ways, a litter lighter than this and yet darker than when taken with the flash.
