Broken handle, on our Oceanair Skyscreen - 2018

Now the Oceanair Skyscreen handle broke on the blind side! Yes, we just replaced the handle on the screen side!

This is one of four Oceanair Skyscreens we have. The others are doing fine.

 

 The stateroom Oceanair Skyscreen gets the most use so it is logical it would be the one to have handle problems. This time we did not want to take the time to remove the Oceanair Skyscreen and fix the handle. We do have one spare handle left, instead we just drilled a couple of holes in the bracket under where the handle goes and attached a piece of line for a pull. Works fine for now and this summer we will remove the Oceanair Skyscreens again and replace the handle. The holes drilled will not show as the handle will cover the.
