The diesel pump for the Racor filters - 5 of 8 - 2014

End of October 2014 - Currently in Paradise Village Marina in Banderas Bay Mexico
When Debbie was in the US she picked up this Moeller valve. None here we could find.
She could only get a 3\8 as there were no 1\4 inch which fits the 5\16 Trident fuel hose better.

We got our “Moeller” three way 3\8 valve installed.
Tech support at (1-126-688-8300)
Part number 3312-10
Mr Gasket Part No 12D
We did get the 3\8 hose barbs in the 5\16 hose by putting a little engine oil on the hose barb.
We used some oil guard mats thinking the diesel would come rushing out from the diesel tank. Not even the case. None came out! This space where we are putting the Moeller valve is by the galley sink. There is an access hatch there on our 36' 1978 Islander Freeport sail boat.
OK the Moeller valve is now installed.
Editor's note:  Note the very "cool" mount the engineer designed and installed!!
Here I am working on the "T" by the diesel pump for the Racor filters. We ran out of Fuel hose and that is all that is needed to finish off this project.

I did just pick up 4' of Trident Marine fuel hose at the SYS Severin chandlery here at  Paradise Village Marina and will be finishing and testing this project out soon.
Here is the "T". One fuel hose from the valve which runs directly from the fuel tank to the Racor filters. Then one (The one that is missing) from the pump to the top of the T and then to the Racor filters. Also we picked up some more fuel line hose clamps so we could double them up where we ran out.
