Cockpit dome light almost done - 2019

  Yes, we are creating and installing a cockpit dome light. 

We got tired of the portable one so we purchased some LED water proof lights.

Wire, wire, who's got the wire!?!?

Soldering up the wires that go in the dodger.

Starboard lazarett where the positive wire from the dome light is run.

We connected the light to a switch on this WeatherDeck®12V DC Waterproof Fuse Panel - 6 Positions and to the photo sessor so it will go on\off 
automatically or we can shut it on\off if we want.

This soldering gun has sure come in handy!

Here you can see the dielectric grease squeezing out.  

It was not quite dark yet in this photo and we had a full moon.

 This will make getting on\off the Bahia de Navidad water taxi a lot better. Also unlocking our companway doors. And when coming in through the swim step from the dinghy, this well help light the way.
