Rule 2000 bilge pump leaking? - 2019

 Our Rule 2000 bilge pump seems to be leaking at the base. You can see a steady stream of water shooting out. It is still pumping water out of the boat, though.

December 2019 - Currently in Paradise Village Marina in Banderas Bay Mexico (by Puerto Vallarta)
 Our boat is a 1978 Islander Freeport 36' sail boat. We have a Beta Marine 38 hp motor, repowered from a Perkins 4-108 engine.

We will be talking to support about the leak.
We do have another bilge pump also, 
a Whale Gulper IC Diaphragm Bilge Pump.

 So, support said there is no rebuilding it. Buy new. We were lucky and found another Rule 2000 bilge pump at SYS chandlery here in  Paradise Village Marina.Replacing the one we have will be another project.
