Can you believe we had to send the Mermaid 5200 btu unit back to Mermaid yet again! Mermaid had sent it back to us after repairing it an we installed it yet again. The first night the compressor was making noises and the next the unit started to frost up. Back it went but first we had to get Mermaid to send us a shipping label. This time we had kept the box. It was the hottest day of the year and we were shipping our ac unit back for repair yet again. This time we also spotted some rust on the wiring harness ends. We had to use a screw driver to separate the harness fro the magic box.
