We removed our 12,000 btu built in HVAC unit and then removed our 6 gal water heater. We had the help of Chava and his worker Teto for the lifting and caring out to the dock of the two units.

Myself and Teto carried out the water heater. Debbie recorded the wiring and de-wired the split element from the water heater. We will clean up and go at it again tomorrow. We did purchase a new split element for the new water heater incase the old one was damaged or would not come out. It does not want to come out of the old water heater so we're glad we did.
The split element allows us to heat the water in the water heater through our excess solar power.
