More sewing for Debbie - repairing the side shade etc - 2020

There were some repairs needed with the Velcro on our side shade for the cockpit. Debbie fixed it up nicely!  Our handy dandy Sailrite Ultrafeed LSZ-1 Sewing Machine has got some years on it now. Debbie keeps it oiled up and keeps up the attachment inventory and some spare parts. .November 2020 - We are currently in Paradise Village Marina in Banderas Bay Mexico (by Puerto Vallarta)
Can you guess what these two SS caps go to?
Yes, a DOT twist fastener!!  This webbing strap was formerly used with Velcro yet the Velcro wasn't really strong enough to hold the shade piece onto the rail.  So Debbie changed it out for a twist fastener and it works SO much better!

This was probably the last of the cockpit shade repairs before our 2020/2021 cruising season this Fall\Winter/Spring. The sun does eat up the thread and Velcro so every once in a while things need some refurbishing
