New 8-inch Schaefer SS cleats installed for spring lines - 2020

We had purchased these Schaefer cleats some time ago. Now anchored here in Zihuatanejo we finally installed them. They are replacing Schaefer 6" cleats we installed back in 2016 that proved to be too small.
February 2020 - We are currently anchored in Zihuatanejo Mexico
Debbie taped up the old 6 inch Schaefer stainless steel
cleat holes and put in a two part epoxy.
Then we drilled a couple 1\2" holes for the new
 8-inch Schaefer stainless steel cleats.
A good practice is to counter sink the holes so they seal good.
Debbie taping up the cleats before we apply the 3M Marine Adhesive Sealant 5200.
I applied 3M Marine Adhesive Sealant 5200 to the cleat
and stainless steel screws then inserted the cleat.
The screws into the cabinet in the boat.
Some big fender washers and flat and lock washers.
Then some cranking down and it is done!😎

We will finish off the old holes with some paint and you will never see them.
