Starboard hand rail getting Cetol - 2016

Beginning of April 2016 - Anchored in Barra de Navidad lagoon, Mexico
Yes it that time again - to redo the Sikkens Cetol (clear gloss) on the deck wood.
That includes the hand rails and eye brows, cap rails, binnacle mount and cockpit lazarette wood, to name most of the wood. The last time we did this was the summer of 2014 and the teak wood is still looking good. It has been exposed to the sun here since about 2 years. There is some water intrusion and a few bubbles from I think moisture is ether in the wood or what ever. We have not gotten to that area yet which is on the cap rail.

Debbie did the blue taping after I had sanded with #220 grit to rough it up
and smooth out some ridges from last time we Cetoled.
Before Cetoling the hand rail.
Not hard doing this and kind of therapeutic here at anchor.
Only two coats and it's finished for another season!
