Anchored in Chamela Bay (Perula Bay) and loving it - 2013

Late December 2013- Anchored in Chamela (Perula Bay)

When we arrived in Chamela (Perula Bay) which is by the fishing village of Perula it was the beginning of a three week anchorage in somewhat isolation.

No TV. No bars or restaurants with TV, in fact no bars at all. No phone. Some pay phones in town.

The WiFi could be gotten in town but only at a few places. A café very slow, the hotel, slow but workable and if you anchored off the hotel you could get it on the boat. The hotel offered it for 50 pesos for 24 hours.
The islands.

Lots of Baja Ha Ha 2012 boats came and left and most we knew while we were anchored there.

Debbie checking it out!
s\v Cat 2 Fold was here, not a Baja Ha Ha 2012 boat. A couple youn kids out cruising.
Most boats and people we meet in more than one anchorage 😃
There were no sunsets beacuse of this point which protected the anchorage from NW waves and wnd.
It was also very beautiful and peaceful.
