Debbie made a 12 volt extension chord for our pump 2025

We realized we needed a longer cord for our electric pump that we use for inflatables. Most of the time we use a hand pump but now it seems we want to use our electric pump.

You set it to the desired amount and it just pumps it up. However using it up on the foredeck for say, the SeaEagle 300x (at 3.2psi) or the Bote Breeze paddleboard (10 psi) on the foredeck, was not working. Also the dinghy in the water. So we put together an extension chord using the cigarette lighter ends for 12v hook up. That's what's on the OutdoorMaster air pump end is a 12v cigarette liter male end. We can also use the pump on the dinghy and our inflatable fenders.
Here, Debbie is attaching the ends onto the existing wires of the long cord with butt connectors - 4 connections equaled 8 crimps...used a lot of hand strength!! Another worthwhile project!!
