2020 - We are currently anchored in Zihuatanejo
Mexico Our adventure today: taking the water taxi to Playa Las Gatas in Zihuatanejo Bay. It is an absolutely beautiful day!! Water warm and clear....must wear water shoes though because of the coral. We ate yummy food at Restaurant Cotilia - second-to-last at the end of the restaurants on the beach - staff friendly and facilities (including a fresh water shower) available to patrons. We even got in a game of Yahtzee! We are really glad we spent the afternoon here!!
We got the white tickets as suggested, why we are not sure.50 pesos each (about a $2.50 USD each for round trip) Loading up was fun. They are building a new pier in Zihuatanejo so we had to load on the back in the lagoon-side which was fine.
