Our first days in Ajijic, Mexico...by Lake Chapala - 2018

So here we are up in the Mountains of Mexico! Yes we are taking care of a house and the weather is just great. It was 82 yesterday and then it rained over night as it does most nights. Very comfortable for a summer stay.
June 2018- Currently in Ajijic which is a town by Lake Chapala Mexico

The rain just started to fall. We took a walk for pizza yesterday on a sunny afternoon.
Quite nice, no sweating. It is 43 percent humidity now and Puerto Vallarta is 96 percent humidity now. Sleeping with a blanket and no fan or air conditioning. This may just work out!
It took about 5 hours to drive here to Lake Chapala from Puerto Vallarta Jalisco. The roads were mostly good except by the airport in Guadalajara. Our VW Jetta did well and the a/c, of course, was nice. We are now in a town called Ajijic and it seems nice. We are pet/house sitting.
Our Jetta is next to the black fencing which is the gararge. To the right of that is the laundry room and it could have been a maids' quarters at one time. This picture we took is looking off the front veranda.
The town is at 5000 feet.
