It would be a problem anyway but this makes it worst. Chava (our rigger) suggested we got them from the Islander Freeport next to us that has always had problems with bees and has been docked there for some years. So he gave us some moth balls and Debbie has raised them to the top forward section of the mast. Jib halyard did the trick. It was going up with the sacrificial line for summer on it so the jib halyard would not be in the sun all summer. Now it is up with moth balls and they seem to have worked. No more bees.
June 2018- Currently in Paradise Village Marina in Banderas Bay Mexico
We also put some in the mast.
