The conditions were great as we also left at daybreak. One other sail boat here. We anchored in 20 feet at Shawn and Heather's guide book mark. This is about the first time the guid book spot was ever clear in anchorages. Well we are about 50 feet away from it. We decided there is no need for the flopper stopper so for now it is stowed.
Debbie talked over the VHF radio with Greg and Kristin on s/v Sonrisa. We're cruising the Sea and they're headed south. We've shared quite a few passages with them over the years!
Note
There ended up being four other sail boats there with us and at night there was a really uncomfortable SW swell being blown into the anchorage with only an 8 to 10 knot breeze. Very pitchey all night.
