Spectra Watermaker stuck high pressure check valves - 2023

 After sitting pickled all Summer (hurricane season) our Spectra water maker would not create high pressure when we started it up.October 2023 - Chip & Debbie in Marina Costa Baja, La Paz, BCS (Baja), Mexico

Symptom: Feed pump runs but no pressure
Cause: Feed pump air locked
Remedy: Open pressure relief valve to bleed the air then close to start.

**We tried this a couple of times yet this did not solve the problem. We also checked raw water filter and pre-filter for debris yet both were clear. 11/04/2023**
Symptom: Feed pump runs but no pressure
Cause: Possible check valve clogged in Clark Pump.
Remedy: Kink brine discharge hose; run watermaker - feed pump will go up in pressure and if set correctly, will shut off @125 psi. Try a couple of times to correct.

**We tried this by putting vice grips on the brine discharge hose and the pressure rose to a little over 120 psi and the feed pump started shutting down as pressure rose. We turned off the feed pump, unclamped the hose and restarted the feed pump. Normal operations occurred. Thank you Peter!**
