We had purchased one of these fans last Summer and we really like it. We have been using it in the salon then the stateroom at night. It tilts and is fairly quiet. It has a remote which is surprisingly handy. It rotates and has a timer, and three speeds. The timer is nice also. I can set it say and hour to go to sleep with and will not wake up cold and need to get up and shut it off. It will also help the electric bill. We have used one while at anchor in the warm afternoon running off the inverter and solar panels. No problem and batteries still 100%! They are a bit larger and a bit heavier than our last 110 v fans but worth it for us. They fit easily in the spaces we want them too.
