Starting caprail varnishing project - 2023

Today we started our cap rail project, refreshing the Epifanes varnish. We will swap the paddle board to the port side. I enlisted Debbie's help this time on the sanding - she usually helps with the taping. We work well together, and it is enjoyable doing these projects together! The starboard side is now sanded.

We used #320 wet and scuffed it up removing cracks, dirt etc and the shine. Next is taping. I will probably tape the outside on the paddle board and wipe the salt off the hull at the same time.
Later we are going to the Barra de Navidad Resort Marina to play "Mexican Train" with two other couples, (cruisers) and have some lunch. I am thinking the Shrimp Burger...comes with fries etc!
