Starboard cap rail varnishing, first coat - 2023

I put the first coat of Epifanes varnish on the starboard caprail this morning; Debbie was taping and "foiling". We'll give it another light sanding in a couple days and add another coat.January 2023 - s/v Elegant'sea ⛵ Chip & Debbie 💑 anchored ⚓ in the Lagoon, Barra de Navidad 🛶 Pacific Mexico

For the first time ever, we were going to have it done for us in the Barra de Navidad Marina. We went in the week before the holidays, but they were too busy with all the cruisers there so were not up for it. Therefore, we decided what the heck, we'll do it ourselves as always. Besides, we do like being at anchor - it is a lot quieter, cooler, and peaceful on the hook.
