New "Heil Peo-Set 3" headphones purchased for our ICOM SSB M-802 radio.
I wanted these so the early nets do not wake one or the other of us in the morning or whenever one wants or needs to listen for weather etc, the other can have some peace. We will just use the mic that comes with the radio for talking. This is one time I do more listening than talking

We ended up selling these headphones as Starlink has killed the Icom SSB at least in Mexico. We added a GPS to the SSB so we can use it for distress calls if needed. It will send out position data all over the world. The VHF only has a range of say 30 miles.
We tried to have a head set with a mic attached and a push to talk button, but it got too complicated and too expensive. So, these headphones will be just fine.
We try to do these purchases while in the US as we have a lot more choices and the availability is much better.

This is not going to work because the plug is different. in the M-802 mic.
