Wedding reception at Oceanside YC (California)

Dave and Marisa on s\v Pacifico had a wedding reception at Oceanside YC and we went to wish them well as we happened to be house/pet sitting near by.

Beginning of July 2017 - Tied up in Marina Mazatlán, Mexico
We  were house/pet sitting in San Marcos, California (just North of San Diego).
From the Oceanside YC.
Dave and Marisa with some horsing around!

We hads to get in on the action with a selfe!
And guess what we saw at the Oceanside Harbor Marina, an Islander Freeport  36'!
And the name is ...
And also an Islander Freeport 41', no relation to the Islander Freeport 36' except it was built by the same company - Islander Yachts in California.
Some birds making out in the tree, it's that time.
Snowy egrets

  1. That 1983 Freeport 36 you saw is called Amazing Grace, hull #156, is owned by Joe & Barbara Bizzarro that live in San Marcos. Joe is a retired marine electrician, and one of his clients was the Oceanside Harbor police department. Interesting enough is this boat's hull number of 156, as that is the highest hull number in the FOG Boat database, making it very possibly the last Freeport 36 ever built.

If I knew you were in town, we could have met up with you two!
