Under the galley sink.
First off we had to re-run the 15' 1/2" hose from the galley area to the water maker with the 5/8" hose. We also at this time ran two lengths of 150 psi hose for the gauges and testing tap.
Through the engine room.
Into the cabinet where the filter is. Notice the filter iis in a different location at this time. We were trying the placement out. The tubing will go under the settee.
We plumbed most of the components and set in place all the items to make water. We still need to install the guage, valve, strainer and some wiring to comple the job and make water.
First of we needed to install the filter that goes to the clak pump from the accumulator tank. We did the usual drill of the four wraps of pipe tape and installed the fittings.
We have limited choices on installation of the items. This filter needs cleaning a lot and needs to be acasable. There are not a lot of options for easy accessibility. We chose the cabinet located between the salon and stateroom. It is under the settee end table if you may call it that😊. It needs to be low because it has to go under the settee seat yet be hight enough to get the filter off. for cleaning. Often people drag thi filter behind the boat to clean it.
We had to purchase 15' of 150 psi hose form Daily Water Makers for the run to the galley sink. looks like we will need another 15' also. This is for the pressure gauge the gph flow meter sight gauge and the sampling tap.
Next we had to mount and plumb in the accumulator tank. The same drill with all the fittings etc. Had to route the hoses from the feed pump and just installed filter. Also the black 150 psi hose goes to the pressure gauge in the galley, yet to be installed.
Now it was time to clean p the space the Spectra Clark pump is sitting in and define the correct placement.

First off the original vent hose from the 55 gal water tank starboard side was a lot kinked. We will be routing the freshly made water into this hose. Just in case it may give us grief at some tine we cut out around it so we could get a wrench on the hose clamp to replace the hose if need be. The builder must have put this together then placed the wood on top, no access to the clamp.
Done and tests ot fine.
Now we cleaned p all the wiring that is running through here and painted the space up.
Now for the placement of the Spectra Clark Pump.
OK now we need to get some screws to secure this and off to install the the rest.
