May 2024 - Chip & Debbie anchored at Agua Verde, BCS (Baja), Mexico
We did fine with some parts being easy enough and some a bit more challenging but nothing really dangerous. When we got to the North beach we talked to a couple of campers from Nevada, and they gave us some water as we forgot to bring my backpack and water. They gave us the lay of the land and different coves, snorkeling places etc. We then decided to take the road back to the restaurant. It was a lot of uphill and a lot longer but with some nice views. It reminded us of the Costacomate anchorage by Barra de Navidad where you can walk to Melaque. We did that walk once and it was fun enough but never again. This was the same, the long winding road but we got some good views and exercise.
When we got back to the restaurant, we had a good breakfast and met three cruising couples and one guy we knew from a previous anchorage.
The campers said they counted the boats in the anchorage the other day and there were 32. Almost all left but it is starting to fill up again.
We may leave in a few days making it about eight nights we will be here. Of course we will be back on the way South.
