Ordered new Taylor Made Tuff End Buoy/Ball Fenders - 2024

Taylor Made 15" Tuff End Inflatable Vinyl Buoy - White
We just ordered 3 Taylor ball fenders of 15" and one 12" from Hodges Marine. We will pick them up in the US as we will be there for a week. Also we ordered 3 Aire 10x26 neoprene fender covers for the three inflatable fenders that we have without covers. We have one with a cover and we like it so we got three more.January 2024 - Chip & Debbie 💑 Currently in Marina Costa Baja in La Paz, Mexico

The Taylor ball fenders are for dock side for hurricane protection from the boat next to us and the dock on the other side. When we go sailing/anchoring we leave the ball fenders at the dock and deflate the four other fenders in case we need the for a fuel dock or other reason. The two other misc fenders we have are used for dock side and are also left at the dock. The one small flat fender we have is used to help float the stern steps. And lastly the white flat fender we purchased was for the paddleboard so it would not beat up the boat when launching the paddleboard or retrieving it. Now we are purchasing a inflatable (ISUP) so we will let that flat fender go.
After Hurricane Norma came through this last summer Debbie and I rode it out here at the Marina we realized we were under-fendered as most people were. There was a run on fenders here at the chandleries here in La Paz but things here are about 25 to 40% more than high retail in the US according to the item.
Also, we had previously purchased an 18-inch Taylor ball fender to keep us off the dock by the piling.
Now we will be all fendered-up for next Hurricane season.
